Deck overview

The Serpent Society rewards the deck for sacrificing creatures with deathtouch by forcing each opponent to sacrifice a nontoken creature. The main plan is therefore to deploy the commander, a sacrifice outlet such as Ashnod's Altar, and disposable deathtouch creatures, then add Dictate of Erebos or Grave Pact for redundancy. Aphelia, Viper Whisperer, Pharika, God of Affliction, and Hornet Queen can provide useful fodder, while Guardian Project, Chevill, Bane of Monsters, and Ohran Frostfang replenish resources. The deck also has a credible secondary poison package through Fynn, the Fangbearer, Bloated Contaminator, Venerated Rotpriest, and Triumph of the Hordes. Its central limitation is access: there are no broad tutors, no stack interaction, and no compact win loop. It can create strong creature attrition around turn 8, but it does not reliably convert that advantage into a table kill or total lockout.
