Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Sphinx tribal powerhouse commanded by The Ur-Sphinx. From the command zone, the commander provides a static Eminence discount of {1} to all Sphinx spells, allowing heavy flying threats to hit the board ahead of curve. The deck focuses on assembling mana acceleration and tribal cost reducers before deploying value engines like Unesh, Criosphinx Sovereign and Consecrated Sphinx. Once established, it leverages high-impact beaters, life-setting effects like Magister Sphinx, and damage multipliers like True Conviction to close out the game through overwhelming aerial combat. Supported by top-tier free counterspells, efficient reanimation packages, and asymmetric board wipes like Cyclonic Rift and Kindred Judgment, the deck balances heavy stompy pressure with resilient interaction.
