Deck overview

This deck is a Simic "Cascade-Slinging" strategy helmed by Quandrix, the Proof. The primary game plan is to ramp aggressively into the commander, which then transforms every instant and sorcery in hand into a value engine by granting them Cascade. The deck leverages high-CMC spells like Apex Devastator, Last March of the Ents, and Omniscience to create overwhelming board states and card advantage. By chaining spells that cascade into further ramp or utility, the deck aims to outpace opponents through sheer volume of free spells. The commander is essential as the primary engine, turning mid-game interaction into proactive development. Win conditions are primarily combat-based, utilizing massive threats like Koma, World-Eater or explosive turns involving Berserk and extra turn spells like Capture of Jingzhou to close out the game.
