Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Dimir tempo and burn list led by Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. The primary game plan relies on deploying cheap, evasive 0- and 1-drop creatures on the first turn, enabling a Turn 2 Commander Ninjutsu activation. Once Yuriko is in combat, every connecting Ninja reveals the top card of the library, drawing that card and dealing its mana value in direct life loss to all three opponents simultaneously. The deck leverages high-mana-value spells with built-in cost reduction—such as Draco, Dig Through Time, and Treasure Cruise—alongside topdeck manipulation like Brainstorm and Ponder to deal massive chunks of asymmetric table-wide damage. A dense suite of low-cost counterspells and spot removal protects Yuriko and preserves combat momentum against opposing blockers and sweepers. Because Commander Ninjutsu completely bypasses commander tax and standard countermagic, the deck recovers quickly from removal, steadily draining all opponents across consecutive combat steps.
