Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Izzet spellslinger and Hero-tribal engine piloted by Scarlet Witch, Chaotic Avenger. The central game plan focuses on deploying the commander early and connecting with evasive combat damage to cheat high-impact Hero cards and noncreature spells directly from exile. Once the primary engine is online, the deck scales its advantage by compounding cast-from-exile and noncreature spell triggers. Cards like Passionate Archaeologist, Thor, God of Thunder, and Nico Minoru, Runaway turn every free spell into direct damage that drains opposing life totals. Supporting artifacts like Cosmic Cube and enchantments like Wanda's Vision provide redundant free-casting velocity, ensuring steady pressure even if the commander is removed. While the deck lacks instant two-card combos, its mix of evasive beaters, incremental burn, and massive mana tempo from cheated spells allows it to control tempo and close out games across mid-game combat cycles.
