Deck overview

This deck is a Selesnya Voltron strategy led by Wilson, Refined Grizzly and Noble Heritage. It establishes a rapid, evasive clock by combining Wilson's built-in keyword suite (trample, reach, vigilance, ward {2}, and uncounterability) with the steady +1/+1 counter engine and political shielding of Noble Heritage. By Turn 4, Wilson attacks as a 6/6 or larger, leveraging efficient pump spells and double strike effects to threaten lethal commander damage. A dense suite of low-cost fight spells allows Wilson to police the board while attacking, and an extensive protection package keeps him safe from targeted removal and damage-based board wipes. While sequential combat inherently gives the table multiple response cycles to find untargeted answers, the deck's low curve and high threat density ensure steady, proactive pressure.
