Deck overview

This Yusri, Fortune's Flame deck is an Izzet spellslinger and coin-flip combo deck that turns probability into massive card draw and sudden wins. Yusri sits in the command zone as an early card-draw engine, attacking on Turn 4 to draw up to five cards per combat. The deck stabilizes coin flips with enablers like Krark's Thumb and Edgar, King of Figaro, minimizing self-inflicted damage and maximizing spell output. The primary win condition uses Frenetic Efreet to trigger an arbitrary number of coin flips at zero mana, instantly placing dozens of luck counters on Chance Encounter to win on the next upkeep. Backup routes turn card draw into direct damage using Niv-Mizzet, Parun or Psychosis Crawler, while Tavern Scoundrel provides massive bursts of Treasure mana. Backed by solid countermagic and proactive taxes like Planar Chaos, the deck transitions smoothly from card advantage into a protected combo finish.
