This Orzhov deck is a dedicated lifegain and drain combo strategy designed to control the game pace while setting up game-ending trigger loops. Led by Sorin of House Markov, the deck uses early lifegain enablers, aristocratic drain pieces, and taxing enchantments like Blind Obedience and Authority of the Consuls to pressure opponents and pad life totals. Its primary path to victory is assembling an infinite life-drain loop using Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror alongside any of its numerous life-gain-to-drain converters, such as Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Sanguine Bond, or Enduring Tenacity. When assembled, any damage or lifegain trigger instantly eliminates the entire table.
