Deck overview

This Boros tribal aggro deck leverages Thorin, King of Durin's Folk to convert Dwarf deployment into a dense hoard of Treasure tokens, subsequently turning that artifact stockpile into massive combat buffs. Low-cost Dwarves populate the early battlefield, establishing board presence and generating incidental mana and card velocity. Once Thorin enters on Turn 4 or 5, every subsequent Dwarf and artifact expands the board's offensive stats exponentially. Finishers like Taunt from the Rampart and Dáin Ironfoot push through defensive lines to close out opponents across successive combat steps. Secondary win lines include artifact accumulation via Hellkite Tyrant and dragon tutoring through Magda, Brazen Outlaw. The deck's primary operational hurdle is its heavy reliance on creature and artifact permanence, making it susceptible to mass removal.
