Deck overview

This is a Grixis spellslinger deck helmed by Anhelo, the Painter, built to cast one big instant or sorcery per turn and multiply it into a game-ending effect. Anhelo's casualty 2 copies the first spell each turn, and a dense copy suite - Twinning Staff, Cursed Recording, Repeated Reverberation, Display of Power, Choreographed Sparks, Double Down, Errant, Street Artist, and Sunken Palace - stacks additional copies. The primary win is a massively copied Exsanguinate or Cut // Ribbons draining the table, backed by an infinite loop of Pitiless Plunderer + Goblin Bombardment + Forsaken Miner and death-trigger drain from Vein Ripper, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Vengeful Bloodwitch. A deep tutor column (Demonic Tutor via Emeritus of Woe, Diabolic Intent, Solve the Equation, transmute tutors) finds the pieces, while Cryptic Pursuit and Morbid Opportunist keep the hand full.
