Immortal Snail

Format: Commander

Commander: Wick, the Whorled Mind

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Wick, the Whorled Mind commands a Grixis Rat tribal deck that converts low-cost rodents into lethal burn and card advantage. The strategy centers on casting inexpensive Rats and Changelings to generate and steadily grow a massive Snail creature token. Once the Snail reaches significant size, Wick sacrifices it for three mana to deal direct damage to every opponent and draw an equal number of cards. Power-doubling spells such as Unleash Fury and Bulk Up accelerate this clock, while Tainted Strike can turn a single sacrifice into an instant poison elimination. Secondary win conditions include swarming opponents with Marrow-Gnawer and passive burn from Impact Tremors.
