Just little guys... by Gertrude

Format: Commander

Commander: Bess, Soul Nourisher

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Bess makes every 1/1 that enters feed her own counter supply, then turns a board of base 1/1s into a massive alpha strike. The primary plan is to play a turn-one mana dork, drop Bess on turn two, then layer counter multipliers such as Hardened Scales and Kami of Whispered Hopes with token engines like Skrelv's Hive, Rabble Rousing, Rhys, and Maja. The commander's role is both engine and anthem; she is the payoff for token generation. Wild Beastmaster and Wyrm's Crossing Patrol are the hidden finishers that multiply the attack, letting one swing hit all opponents. Triumph of the Hordes or Akroma's Will are the usual closing tools. Without Bess, the token core still functions but is slower.
