Deck overview

This deck leverages Belisarius Cawl to convert cheap artifacts into a growing army of 2/2 Astartes tokens and dig for key pieces. By pairing Cawl with global untap engines like Unwinding Clock, Drumbellower, and Dazzling Theater // Prop Room, the deck activates Cawl during each opponent's turn. This generates overwhelming board presence and card flow. Asymmetric lock pieces like Storage Matrix and Meekstone heavily hinder opposing combat and mana while Cawl's untappers break parity entirely. Once a wide board of tokens is established, the deck transitions into a decisive win through powerful anthem and stat-scaling effects like Dollmaker's Shop // Porcelain Gallery, planeswalker ultimates from Tezzeret the Seeker, or one-sided board wipes like Organic Extinction. Graveyard recursion spells ensure the artifact engine recovers smoothly if interrupted.
