Deck overview

This mono-red deck is commanded by Daredevil, Fearless Fighter, turning self-inflicted pain into targeted noncombat burn against opponents. The strategy pairs self-damage engines like Pyrohemia, Manabarbs, Descent into Avernus, and pain lands with lifelink equipment such as Shadowspear and Basilisk Collar. Lifelink negates the self-harm while allowing Daredevil to deal full damage to opponents and gain life. Midgame damage multipliers including Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, Fiendish Duo, Twinflame Tyrant, and Gratuitous Violence accelerate the damage clock dramatically. A single tap of Heartless Hidetsugu alongside a damage doubler instantly eliminates the entire table. The deck features strong redundancy across its group-slug pieces and shields its key creatures using indestructible equipment and redirection spells like Return the Favor and Redirect Lightning. It reliably achieves usable assembly on Turn 4, critical onset on Turn 5, and closes the game on Turn 6.
