Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Rakdos group-slug and aggro-burn strategy commanded by Gev, Scaled Scorch. The primary game plan uses low-cost pingers to ensure all opponents lose life every turn. Gev converts this condition into rapid board growth, granting three +1/+1 counters to every creature that enters under your control. By turn 5, damage amplifiers such as Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might, Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, and Purphoros, God of the Forge accelerate passive damage into lethal table-wide bursts. In addition to wide combat and burn, the deck includes a two-card infinite combo between All Will Be One and Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin. The deck features high redundancy and efficient removal like Fire Covenant, but trades stack protection for aggressive velocity.
