Deck overview

This deck is an optimized Izzet artifact combo and big mana strategy led by Saheeli, the Gifted. The game plan revolves around deploying cheap mana rocks, cost reducers, and artifact lands in the opening turns, then using Saheeli's affinity-granting loyalty ability to power out massive artifact threats ahead of curve. The deck aims to assemble infinite colorless mana using Basalt Monolith paired with Forsaken Monument or Rings of Brighthearth, immediately winning the game by pumping infinite counters into Walking Ballista or drawing the entire library via Staff of Domination. Alternatively, the deck can establish an insurmountable hard lock using Karn, the Great Creator alongside Mycosynth Lattice, shutting off all opponent mana sources and activated abilities. Supported by a robust suite of artifact tutors, graveyard recursion engines, and board-clearing effects like Cyclonic Rift and Portal to Phyrexia, the deck transitions seamlessly from resource acceleration to decisive table-wide finishes on Turn 5.
