Deck overview

This Boros aggro deck utilizes Gut, True Soul Zealot and Inspiring Leader to generate immediate, aggressive board presence. By pairing Gut's ability to convert cheap artifacts and creatures into 4/1 menace Skeletons with Inspiring Leader's +2/+2 token anthem, every attack creates a formidable 6/3 menace attacker. The 99 is engineered with redundant low-cost fodder permanents such as Ichor Wellspring, Carrot Cake, and Doomed Traveler, ensuring that Gut always has fuel to sacrifice without depleting card advantage. To maintain momentum against removal-heavy pods, the list runs an extensive package of efficient one-mana protection spells like Blacksmith's Skill, Loran's Escape, and Gods Willing. While the deck excels at consistent turn-4 combat pressure and rapid commander deployment, it lacks infinite combos, mass board wipes, or stack interaction, requiring pilot discipline to protect Gut and close games through steady combat attrition.
