Deck overview

This Abzan Lands deck helmed by The Necrobloom leverages extensive land manipulation, self-mill, and recursion to grind out opponents and overwhelm the board. By turning land drops into token generation and giving graveyard land cards dredge 2, the commander serves as both a token factory and a self-replenishing value engine. The deck ramps aggressively on early turns with cards like Exploration and Lotus Cobra, then establishes land recursion engines through Crucible of Worlds, Six, and Ramunap Excavator. The primary game plan culminates around turn 5 by casting Scapeshift or Splendid Reclamation to deploy Field of the Dead and Dark Depths, generating an insurmountable army of 2/2 Zombies alongside Marit Lage. Simultaneously, recurring Strip Mine with multiple land drop effects allows the pilot to dismantle threatening mana bases. Backed by Sylvan Safekeeper and Teferi's Protection, the deck withstands interaction and easily rebuilds from sweepers.
