Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity mono-red stompy and sacrifice deck commanded by Herigast, Erupting Nullkite. The strategy revolves around deploying early death-trigger creatures and mana ramp on turns 1 through 3, then emerging Herigast on turn 4 to refill the hand. Once Herigast is operational, every creature in hand gains emerge, allowing the deck to rapidly chain mid-sized fodder into colossal Eldrazi titans like Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, Ulamog, the Defiler, and Hideous Taskmaster. Supported by a dense suite of haste enablers including Anger, Rising of the Day, and Enduring Courage, the deck applies crushing annihilator pressure and board wipes via Sarkhan's Unsealing on turn 5, closing games on turn 6. Backup cheat engines such as Sneak Attack and Purphoros, Bronze-Blooded ensure resiliency when the commander is contested.
