Deck overview

This mono-green deck executes an aggressive stompy strategy centered on casting Ghalta, Primal Hunger well ahead of curve. By leveraging efficient 1-mana dorks and stat-heavy 3-drop creatures such as Steel Leaf Champion and Pugnacious Hammerskull, the deck quickly builds 10 to 12 power on board. This reduces Ghalta's casting cost to its absolute minimum of two green mana by Turn 4. Once the 12/12 trampling commander hits the battlefield, the deck converts its massive power into overwhelming resource advantage through draw spells like Greater Good, Rishkar's Expertise, and Return of the Wildspeaker. Combat finishers like Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth allow the pilot to push lethal trample damage through blockers, eliminating opponents in rapid succession across Turns 5 through 7. While the deck boasts high internal redundancy and rapid rebuilding potential, it remains vulnerable to board sweepers and lacks dedicated stack interaction.
