Deck overview

This Golgari deck utilizes Umori, the Collector to helm an aggressive swarm strategy centered around 24 copies of Slime Against Humanity. By naming Sorcery with Umori or leveraging cost reducers like Emerald Medallion and Locket of Yesterdays, the deck chains discounted Slime spells that generate progressively larger trampling Ooze tokens. Supporting permanents such as Corpsejack Menace, Garruk's Uprising, and Biogenic Ooze compound power and draw cards, while Spellweaver Helix provides explosive spell duplication. Although the deck operates with extreme consistency due to its density of identical threats, its reliance on summoning-sick combat creatures leaves it vulnerable to well-timed board wipes. However, the graveyard-scaling mechanic of Slime Against Humanity ensures that rebuilding after removal produces even more formidable threats, allowing the deck to pressure life totals and finish opponents across sequential combat steps by turn 8.
