Deck overview

This Abzan deck pairs Prava of the Steel Legion and Ikra Shidiqi, the Usurper to turn small creature tokens into high-toughness combat threats and explosive lifegain engines. Early turns establish mana acceleration and low-cost token generators like Cadira, Caller of the Small and Torens, Fist of the Angels. Prava boosts all creature tokens by +1/+4 during your turn, allowing toughness-damage enablers like Assault Formation, Felothar the Steadfast, and Baldin, Century Herdmaster to convert 1/1 tokens into lethal 2/5 attackers. Ikra Shidiqi converts this combat damage into large life gains, triggering compounding payoffs such as Archangel of Thune, Nykthos Paragon, and Dina, Soul Steeper. Supported by an efficient Abzan removal suite and full-board indestructible protection spells, the deck overwhelms the table through relentless mid-game combat damage.
