Commander: Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm is the engine of a Temur Dragon deck that turns every nontoken Dragon into two threats. The primary plan is to ramp to six mana, land Miirym, then chain Dragons with haste and ETB triggers. Secondary paths use Champion of Rhonas, Kona, or Ureni to cheat Dragons into play, and Scourge of the Throne acts as a hidden commander: copied by Miirym, it combines with Thrakkus or Savage Ventmaw to generate extra combats and lethal damage. The deck is not a combo deck; it wins through overwhelming combat and repeated Dragon triggers, with protection and counterspells to keep the engine alive.
