Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul midrange attrition engine built around Hansk, Slayer Zealot. The strategy turns Hansk's symmetrical drawback into an asymmetric advantage by giving opponents 2/2 Walker Zombie tokens on upkeep and immediately harvesting them for card draw and damage triggers. Dense low-CMC ramp ensures Hansk hits the board ahead of curve on turn 3 or 4. Once established, Hansk pairs with ping enablers, untap artifacts like Sting, the Glinting Dagger, and sweepers like Blasphemous Act and Spiteful Banditry to clear boards and draw bursts of cards. Burn payoffs such as Gimli, Counter of Kills, Rampaging Ferocidon, and Solphim, Mayhem Dominus convert dead tokens into lethal direct damage. The deck defends its engine with efficient protection spells and equipment while utilizing combat swings and Mob Rule to eliminate surviving opponents by turn 8.
