Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul Dragon stompy list centered on Ruby, Daring Tracker, who serves as a guaranteed mana dork in the command zone. The deck's primary strategy is to accelerate into the 5-to-7-mana range quickly, deploying high-power flying Dragons such as Atarka, World Render, Drakuseth, Maw of Flames, and Thundermaw Hellkite. Supporting enchantments like Dragon Tempest, Garruk's Uprising, and Crucible of Fire enhance these creatures with haste, trample, card advantage, and massive stat boosts. Because it lacks fast combo finishes, the deck wins through incremental, lethal combat damage across multiple rotations. While highly resilient against ground-based defenses thanks to flying evasion, the deck is vulnerable to targeted creature removal and board wipes, requiring careful timing and resource management to maintain pressure.
