Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Angel tribal midrange deck commanded by Seluma, Light of Aysen. Seluma's Rulebreaker ability enables Angels of all five colors alongside any basic lands, allowing the list to run powerful off-color legends like Atraxa, Grand Unifier, Aurelia, the Warleader, and Sigarda, Font of Blessings. The strategy develops early mana through rocks and tribal cost-reducers, stocks the graveyard using self-mill artifacts like Mesmeric Orb, and casts Seluma on turn 4 or 5. Seluma's combat damage trigger reanimates high-cost Angel threats directly to the battlefield without paying mana. The deck converts these threats into a lethal aerial clock amplified by lifegain buffs from Archangel of Thune and Righteous Valkyrie. An extensive suite of phasing and indestructible protection spells shields the board against opposing board wipes, allowing the deck to close out the game through overwhelming aerial combat by turn 8.
