Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai Superfriends control strategy commanded by Commodore Guff. The game plan revolves around deploying low-cost mana rocks on early turns, establishing a defensive perimeter with combat deterrents like Pramikon, Sky Rampart, Silent Arbiter, and Wall of Denial, and cascading into a critical mass of planeswalkers. Once multiple planeswalkers hit the battlefield, asymmetric sweepers such as Urza's Ruinous Blast and Farewell clear away opposing threats while leaving your planeswalkers untouched. The deck wins by turning planeswalkers into an aggressive aerial armada with Sarkhan the Masterless, burning down life totals with Chandra, Legacy of Fire and Guff's loyalty abilities, or establishing overwhelming loyalty advantages through Oath of Teferi and The Chain Veil. Its primary vulnerabilities stem from a total absence of countermagic, making it susceptible to opposing noncreature combo finishes and instant-speed interaction.
