the 6-7 deck by user1980828

Format: Commander

Commander: Glissa Sunslayer

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Golgari creature-only battlecruiser uses Umori's discount to cast a dense suite of 6-8 mana threats and grind value. Glissa Sunslayer acts as early draw and enchantment removal while you ramp with Birds of Paradise, Bloom Tender and Paradise Druid. The primary plan is to overwhelm the table with large attackers and finish with Pathbreaker Ibex or Thunderfoot Baloth pumps, supported by treasure from Old Gnawbone and mana doubling from Regal Behemoth and Nyxbloom Ancient. Secondary paths use reanimation and recursion via Sheoldred, Mikaeus and Greenwarden, and tutor chains with Razaketh and Rune-Scarred Demon. Razaketh and Protean Hulk function as hidden commanders that tutor or cheat the big board.
