Commander: The Scorpion God

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

The Scorpion God headlines a Rakdos attrition and control deck focused on -1/-1 counter synergies, board suppression, and aristocrat combo finishes. The commander acts as a persistent card draw engine and targeted removal outlet that naturally recurs itself to hand on death. Early turns focus on establishing mana acceleration, token generation, and repeatable card advantage. The deck controls opposing battlefields through negative-counter sweepers and wither effects before pivoting into game-ending loops. Primary victories stem from infinite death triggers using Blowfly Infestation and Nest of Scarabs alongside Blood Artist or Zulaport Cutthroat, or machine-gun damage loops with All Will Be One and wither damage replacements.
