Deck overview

This deck is a Selesnya midrange deck built around +1/+1 counters and political diplomacy. Led by Gluntch, the Bestower, the deck leverages fast 1-drop mana dorks to deploy Gluntch early, generating a steady flow of counters, card advantage, and Treasures while offering selective benefits to opponents to manage threat perception. As the game progresses, counter amplifiers like Hardened Scales and Conclave Mentor accelerate creature growth alongside self-buffing threats like Forgotten Ancient and Sunscorch Regent. Evasion granters such as Abzan Falconer and Duskshell Crawler convert high power into unblockable or trampling combat pressure, closing out games through sequential player eliminations by Turn 8. Defensive spells like Inspiring Call and Silkguard protect key boards against sweepers.
