Deck overview

This Jund deck pairs Tana, the Bloodsower and Reyhan, Last of the Abzan to build an aggressive, resilient engine combining +1/+1 counters, token swarms, and aristocrat payoffs. Early turns focus on accelerating mana and casting both commanders. Once deployed, Tana creates Saproling tokens scaled to her trample combat damage, while counter multipliers like Branching Evolution and Corpsejack Menace rapidly expand her power. Reyhan ensures that any removed or sacrificed creatures pass their accumulated counters onto surviving threats, preserving combat momentum across removal. Token swarms are subsequently converted into card advantage through Skullclamp and Plumb the Forbidden, or into burst mana with Warren Soultrader and Ashnod's Altar. The deck finishes games between Turns 5 and 7 using overwhelming overrun effects like Craterhoof Behemoth and Return of the Wildspeaker, or through direct aristocrat burn using Mayhem Devil and Goblin Bombardment.
