Starting Commanda Deck 4 Cheep by user5425649

Format: Commander

Commander: Arcades, the Strategist

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Arcades, the Strategist helms a proactive Bant toughness-matters deck that transforms low-cost defender creatures into massive combat beaters and potent card-draw engines. By shifting combat damage calculations to toughness, inexpensive walls like Angelic Wall and Corrupted Shapeshifter deliver high damage output well above their mana costs while drawing replacement cards. The primary game plan focuses on building a resilient wall-based army, generating steady card advantage through defender casts, and finishing opponents through unblockable combat swings or mass tap effects like Bond of Discipline. A secondary infinite mana combo with Axebane Guardian and High Alert provides an alternate win condition.
