Commander: Thanos, the Mad Titan

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This five-color Villain-tribal deck treats Thanos, the Mad Titan as a board-control piece rather than the engine. It develops a swarm of cheap Villains, uses connive and draw triggers from Baron Strucker, Prowler, Red Ghost, and Kang to fill the board, then clears blockers with Thanos's one-shot power-up. The main noncombat shortcut is Displacer Kitten plus Teferi, Time Raveler and Sol Ring, which generates infinite mana and draws the deck, letting Batroc the Leaper hit all opponents for lethal. Most games, however, win by repeated combat damage while the Villain tokens and haste threats outclass the board.
