Deck overview

Pantlaza, Sun-Favored rewards the deck for deploying large Dinosaurs, so the main plan is to ramp into the commander, cast another Dinosaur each turn, and turn its toughness into free spells through discover. The list has strong tribal redundancy and several ways to cheat costs: Urza's Incubator, Kinjalli's Caller, Shadow in the Warp, Monster Manual // Zoological Study, and Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant. Its best value engines are The Great Henge, Garruk's Uprising, Vaultborn Tyrant, and repeated Pantlaza, Sun-Favored triggers. The deck usually assembles its operating engine around turn six and creates a must-answer board around turn seven. It is resilient against targeted removal when Heroic Intervention, Teferi's Protection, Deflecting Swat, or Rhythm of the Wild is available, but it remains exposed to sweepers, exile, and mana disruption. It wins through several combat turns rather than a compact combo.
