Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari Phyrexian tribal and counter-focused midrange strategy led by Glissa, Herald of Predation. The primary plan accelerates into an early turn 4 Glissa deployment using efficient ramp spells such as Nature's Lore, Farseek, and the Medallions. Glissa's combat triggers generate Incubator tokens and transform them for free, bypassing the standard two-mana activation cost per token. The deck amplifies these tokens through counter multipliers like Branching Evolution, Corpsejack Menace, Doubling Season, and The Earth Crystal. Proliferate engines like Evolution Sage and Bloated Contaminator grow both +1/+1 counters and poison counters applied by toxic threats. Combat is heavily favored thanks to Glissa granting team-wide first strike and deathtouch, allowing the deck to dominate creature combat and close the game on turn 8 either through overwhelming trampling physical damage or lethal infect bursts via Triumph of the Hordes.
