Deck overview

This Selesnya deck centers on Ohabi Caleria, transforming the Archer creature type into an interactive board control and card advantage engine. By granting Archers pseudo-vigilance through untapping on each opponent's untap step, the deck leverages pingers like Scattershot Archer, Crossbow Infantry, and Brigid, Hero of Kinsbaile to repeatedly snipe opposing utility creatures and flying threats. Equipping these archers with deathtouch via Basilisk Collar or Bow of Nylea creates a lethal defensive grid that deters combat and clears blockers. As archers deal damage, Ohabi's ability converts excess mana into steady card draw, replenishing the hand to deploy more threats. To close out games, the deck pivots from attrition to overwhelming pressure using mass overrun effects, notably Moonshaker Cavalry and Akroma's Will, turning modest utility archers into an unblockable, flying strike force. While highly effective at managing creature-based boards, the deck remains vulnerable to mass exile sweepers and non-creature combo strategies.
