Deck overview

Lightning, Army of One is a Boros equipment-voltron deck that aims to suit up its commander and chain extra combat steps to one-shot each opponent through commander damage. The primary plan is tutoring and attaching cheap, powerful equipment like Buster Sword and Genji Glove, while using Stagger to double subsequent damage to a player. Secondary paths include keyword soup via Odric, Lunarch Marshal, explosive draws with Puresteel Paladin and Sram, and a resilient backup beatdown core led by Bruenor Battlehammer and Gilgamesh. The deck has no true infinite combos; it wins through combat math, using Relentless Assault, Aggravated Assault, and Great Train Heist to multiply attacks.
