Deck overview

This is a Golgari self-mill and token-generation deck commanded by The Mycotyrant. The primary game plan is to aggressively fill the graveyard, using the commander's descend-triggered token creation to build a wide board of Fungus and Saproling tokens. The deck then leverages sacrifice outlets - Ashnod's Altar, Phyrexian Altar, Altar of Dementia - to convert those tokens into mana, card draw, or mill, while draining opponents via Syr Konrad, the Grim, Blood Artist, Mirkwood Bats, and Ayara, First of Locthwain. Recursion engines like Meren of Clan Nel Toth, Eternal Witness, and Six provide resilience, and the deck can finish with a Craterhoof Behemoth overrun or a Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord sacrifice. The list contains three realizable infinite combos buried in the graveyard shenanigans, making it a value-oriented midrange deck that can pivot to a combo finish.
