Mazirek by Chenoo

Format: Commander

Commander: Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Mazirek leads a Golgari sacrifice engine that turns every permanent sacrificed into a growing, threatening board. The primary game plan is to grind advantage through token generation and forced sacrifice, then convert that into commander-sized combat damage. The hidden stronger route uses Chatterfang, Squirrel General with Pitiless Plunderer and a sacrifice outlet to generate an arbitrary number of Squirrel and Treasure tokens, finishing through Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, or Mirkwood Bats. The commander is not needed for the combo, but he turns midgame token sacrifices into +1/+1 counter pressure. The deck can also pivot to overrun wins with counter doublers.
