Deck overview

Baylen, the Haymaker leads a high-synergy Naya token deck designed to swarm the board and convert disposable creature and artifact tokens into immense mana velocity and card flow. The primary strategy revolves around establishing an early token presence through cards like Prosperous Partnership and Loyal Apprentice, deploying Baylen, the Haymaker on Turn 3, and immediately tapping tokens to draw cards and ramp into explosive board states. By Turn 5, the deck transitions from engine building into decisive combat pressure using mass token creators such as Grand Crescendo, Forth Eorlingas!, and March of the Multitudes, coupled with game-ending team buffs like Overrun, Jazal Goldmane, and God-Eternal Rhonas, or one-shot explosive triggers from Devilish Valet. Built-in card draw on the commander provides strong resilience against attrition, while convoke sweepers like Hour of Reckoning break parity by wiping nontoken boards. The deck reliably closes out games by Turn 7 across two combat rotations.
