Commander: The Astonishing Ant-Man

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

The deck is a +1/+1-counter engine built around The Astonishing Ant-Man: every card draw grows the commander, and his tap ability converts that growth into a wide Insect swarm. Card-draw and counter multipliers (Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, Doubling Season) create a snowball that typically ends with Craterhoof Behemoth or Triumph of the Hordes. Big-mana pieces like Seedborn Muse and Kami of Whispered Hopes let the deck both pump the commander and cast its finishers. Secondary paths involve going tall with an unblockable/horsemanship army or using Sun Quan and Spider-Man-style pump to swing over defenses. The plan is linear but well-supported, and its main vulnerability is that the Insect army needs a full turn cycle to attack.
