Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet control and enchantress build centered around The Emperor of Palamecia // The Lord Master of Hell. By utilizing the commander as early ramp for noncreature spells, the deck rapidly deploys high-impact 4+ CMC Sagas and enchantments. As each 4-mana spell is cast, the Emperor accumulates +1/+1 counters until transforming into The Lord Master of Hell. Once transformed, it presents a lethal table-wide clock through its Starfall attack trigger, dealing direct burn to all opponents based on noncreature cards in the graveyard. A deep suite of combat manipulation tools—including stun counters via Fear of Sleep Paralysis, Cursed Roles via Asinine Antics, and forced combat via The Akroan War—neutralizes opposing aggression and forces enemies to batter each other while this deck prepares its decisive burn and token finish.
