Deck overview

This Simic deck leverages The Astonishing Ant-Man to convert card draw into +1/+1 counters and subsequent 1/1 Insect creature tokens. The game plan focuses on establishing early mana acceleration and repeatable card-drawing engines such as Toski, Bearer of Secrets, Bident of Thassa, and Skullclamp. As cards flow into hand, Ant-Man accumulates counters that are cashed in for a wide swarm of Insect tokens. Backed by token doublers like Parallel Lives and counter enhancers like Hardened Scales and Branching Evolution, the deck rapidly scales its board presence. The primary victory condition is an overwhelming combat assault powered by mass-pump spells including Beastmaster Ascension, Overwhelming Stampede, and Biomass Mutation. A rich suite of instant-speed protection spells defends key pieces from opposing removal while the swarm closes out the game.
