Here Comes The Removal by MythDark

Format: Commander

Commander: Horobi, Death's Wail

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Horobi, Death's Wail is a control commander who turns every targeted spell or ability into a destroy effect. The deck uses that engine to clear boards while Morbid Opportunist, Harvester of Souls, and Falkenrath Noble convert deaths into cards and damage. Its primary win is a repeated Gray Merchant of Asphodel loop: build black devotion, cast Gary for a large drain, then sacrifice and recur him with Reanimate, Blood for Bones, Animate Dead, Necromancy, and similar effects. Secondary paths include evasive flyers, death-trigger pings, and the transform condition of Zenos yae Galvus // Shinryu, Transcendent Rival, which can steal a game if the chosen opponent loses. Ad Nauseam acts as a burst draw to assemble the loop.
