Deck overview

This Naya deck is commanded by Toph, the First Metalbender, focusing on turning nontoken utility artifacts and lands into resilient, recurring creature threats through the Earthbend mechanic. Early turns establish mana acceleration via efficient two-mana ramp spells like Nature's Lore and Farseek, followed by deploying cheap value artifacts such as Ichor Wellspring and Nutrient Block. Once Toph enters the battlefield on Turn 3 or 4, her end-step trigger animates lands and artifacts into 0/0 creatures with +1/+1 counters and haste that return to the battlefield tapped if destroyed or exiled. The deck leverages this built-in resilience to build a wide, scaling army of animated lands while doubling down on landfall and high-power payoffs like Phylath, World Sculptor, Avatar Kyoshi, Earthbender, and The Boulder, Ready to Rumble. Evasion and trample enablers such as Badgermole and Flopsie, Bumi's Buddy ensure combat damage pushes through opposing defenses to close the game.
