Deck overview

This Kenrith, the Returned King deck is an optimized combo-control build designed to assemble and protect compact, game-ending combos by Turn 4. The deck leverages an expansive five-color suite of 2-CMC mana rocks to establish rapid mana velocity, enabling early transmute tutors and engine deployment. Its primary path to victory revolves around generating infinite mana with Isochron Scepter and Dramatic Reversal, which allows Kenrith to force every opponent to draw out their deck on the spot. Alternatively, the deck can execute an uncounterable creature-based combo using Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame to attack with infinite hasty tokens. Backed by a dense suite of flexible single-target removal, versatile board wipes, and cheap countermagic, the deck controls the game state while assembling its pieces. While lacking high-end fast mana and free counterspells, its redundancy and resilient recursion make it a potent, consistent threat in high-power multiplayer pods.
