The Hoard of Durin by user6566309

Format: Commander

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk leads an aggressive Boros Dwarf-tribal deck that converts every Dwarf entering the battlefield into a Treasure token, then spends those tokens on bigger boards, equipment, and combat finishers. The core plan is to land Thorin early, flood the battlefield with cheap legendary Dwarves, and use Shared Animosity, Warleader's Call, and Akroma's Will to turn a wide swarm into lethal damage. Magda, Brazen Outlaw serves as a hidden commander, sacrificing Treasures to put Smaug the Magnificent or key equipment directly onto the battlefield. Balin, Loremaster offers a non-combat damage outlet, while a robust protection/recovery package in Teferi's Protection, Boros Charm, and Faith's Reward keeps the deck alive through wraths. This is a mid-speed, combat-focused midrange deck with no infinite combos; it wins through synchronized Dwarf armies and treasure-fueled payoffs.
