Deck overview

This deck is a Temur creature-storm stompy build commanded by Animar, Soul of Elements. The strategy accelerates on Turns 1 and 2 with efficient mana dorks before casting Animar on Turn 2 or 3. By chaining low-cost utility creatures and bounce effects like Shrieking Drake, the deck rapidly stacks +1/+1 counters on Animar to reduce generic mana costs on subsequent creature spells. By Turn 5, this engine deploys massive threats such as Darksteel Colossus, Emrakul, the World Anew, and Sire of Seven Deaths at minimal mana cost. Card draw engines like Garruk's Uprising and Prime Speaker Zegana keep the hand full of gas, while counterspells defend against opposing sweepers. The deck closes out the game through overwhelming combat damage, taking down opponents sequentially over two table rotations.
