Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated four-color Superfriends control strategy piloted by Atraxa, Praetors' Voice. The game plan revolves around deploying defensive enchantments, mana fixing, and tax pieces in the early turns, establishing Atraxa on turn 4, and dropping high-impact planeswalkers on turns 4 through 6. Atraxa's end-step proliferate trigger, alongside synergistic engines like Oath of Teferi, Carth the Lion, and Doubling Season, accelerates planeswalkers toward game-ending ultimate abilities far ahead of normal timing. The deck controls the board using asymmetric wipes like Urza's Ruinous Blast and spot removal such as Assassin's Trophy and Anguished Unmaking. Opponents' resources are constrained through static hate pieces including Narset, Parter of Veils and Karn, the Great Creator. Once ultimate emblems from Tamiyo, Field Researcher, Teferi, Hero of Dominaria, or Liliana, Dreadhorde General resolve, the deck converts board dominance into a victory via combat damage and proliferate-driven poison counters.
