Deck overview

Captain America, Team Leader heads a Jeskai Hero tribal deck that blends aggressive creature curves with +1/+1 counters and combat triggers. The deck aims to deploy Captain America on Turn 3, followed by a continuous chain of Hero creatures that gain immediate haste, vigilance, and stat buffs upon entry. Card draw engines like Jarvis, Folk Hero, and Kindred Discovery maintain card advantage while the board expands. The deck transitions into a lethal threat on Turn 6 by stacking powerful combat multipliers such as War Machine, Avenging Arsenal for double strike, Wings of Freedom for toughness-based team pumping, or Raise the Palisade for asymmetric evasion. Supported by robust anti-wipe protection from Spectacular Spider-Man and Captain America, Super-Soldier, the deck maintains pressure through board disruption and eliminates all three opponents by Turn 8.
